Rory and Amy - Reversed gender characteristics
It really creates a interesting dynamic, Amy has issues settling, she changes jobs, while Rory has a typical feminine job. Amy loves Rory, but was always less intrigued with the idea of getting married and settling down, while Rory never questioned it. Rory is more caring towards others, a characteristic usually assigned to female characters, while Amy have a habit of being somewhat rude, and may be perceived as cold. Rory is better at expressing his feelings and showing emotions than Amy, who have a habit hiding her emotions behind sarcasm and rude name calling. Amy also have somewhat of a habit of being more physically violent than Rory, and more comfortable with the idea of guns. It doesn’t mean Amy doesn’t have feminine aspects - she did work as a model, and Rory enjoys his cars, but I think mainly they fight society’s idea on gender roles.
What a wonderful life now, all a lie.
For my photography class I did series of self-portraits in which I attempted to portray culture and counterculture for the past 10 decades. This is the product of that idea…
this is SO COOL oh man
They are all terrible, just terrible at this, and I love it
when my family went to disney world we went on the haunted mansion ride and this actor dressed as a skeleton came up to our cart and got right in my three year old brothers face and whispered “are you scared?” and my brother kissed him on the nose and the guy laughed so hard he had to leave
AU Idea: Hans is Anna’s twin.
//I saw this nifty au with Kristoff as Elsa’s brother, and I thought, well, what if Hans and Anna were twins, Elsa’s little brother and sister?
In this AU, Hans knows about Elsa’s powers, because his memories weren’t altered when Anna’s head was struck with ice. Because of this, Elsa still talks to Hans after she shuts everyone else out, and their parents trust him to look after her when they go away.
Anna, meanwhile, takes Elsa’s silence very personally, because she doesn’t understand why Elsa would only talk to Hans. Anna grows up very close to her twin brother, and clings to him a lot. He’s literally her only friend, and Elsa envies their relationship.
Hans, though… He doesn’t show it, but he really hates keeping Elsa’s secret, and constantly lying to Anna about it. He may even see Elsa as something of a burden, since he has to take care of her all the time.
When Elsa strikes Anna in the heart with ice, Hans finally snaps. He locks Elsa in the secret prison their father built, and decides to take the throne for himself. Maybe the power of love finally brings the three siblings together, or maybe it ends tragically for all of them…
AU Idea accepted
these characters are destoying me
I’m laughing so fucking hard.
THIS IS JUST SAD TO WATCH
HOW DARE YOU HANS JUST LEAVE HERE THERE LIKE THAT
VERY GLAD ANNA PUNCHES YOUR BIG BUTTFACE
Guys, I think Anna is supposed to look like Elsa here. The white hair, outfit and alone in a room with the door closed.
(and instead of Anna hearing her line of “do you wanna build a snowman?”, the snowman comes to the rescue.. olaf comes for her)
I’m about to cry omg
The snowman Elsa made rescues Anna
Elsa subconsciously saved her
Olaf would melt for her, just like Elsa would die for Anna
Elsa loves her
But Anna ends up dying in the end to save the one protecting her
Because Anna loves her too
people why do you do this? it’s like watching a sad puppy …
I want more people to realize that Olaf is a goofy embodiment of everything Elsa feels with Anna’s personality.
Like he’s not entirely his own character. Everything he expresses is something Elsa feels; his unquestionable and unconditional love for Anna, his lack of fear of Marshmallow, his desire to feel warmth.
Elsa and Anna created him as children, and Elsa brought him back. He is them.
